Fight Yes....Gun No

The initial report to Wilkesboro Police said that one man had a gun.  Tuesday afternoon, a caller to 911 reported that two men were fighting in the Walmart parking lot and that one of them had a gun.  Police Officers quickly arrived on the scene and found two men involved in a verbal altercation in the parking lot.  It turns out the two men involved in the argument were father and son.  The argument was over a car that one sold to the other.  Both men assured Police that the fight was just with words and neither had a weapon.  Police searched both men and their vehicle.  No gun was found.  One of the two men had an outstanding warrant for misdemeanor probation violation, so he was arrested on the warrant.  No other charges were filed.
