Multiple Shoplifting Reports

Wilkesboro Police were busy with shoplifting reports last week.  Employees at Four Brothers were doing inventory when they determined that 3 cartons of cigarettes were missing.  Store video surveillance was pulled which showed to white males stealing the cartons on two different occasions when the clerk was distracted.  Police watched the video and identified the two men who were involved in the theft.  Both men were found and arrested for larceny.  Then a man came to Four Brothers and prepaid for 9 dollars of kerosene.  The man returned to his vehicle where he pumped 21 dollars worth of kerosene and left.  A store employee tried to stop him, but he sped off.  Again store surveillance video was pulled and Wilkesboro Police are looking for the fuel thief.  Charges are pending.  And finally, Wilkesboro Police were called to Walmart.  Two people were observed removing a CD from the packaging and concealing it in their clothing.  When the two attempted to leave the store, they were detained until Police could arrive.  Both were cited for shoplifting and released.
