Friday, October 19, 2012 at 9:59AM A fugitive warrant was served this week on a man living in Wilkes. The warrant for parole violations was issued in California. This week Wilkes Sheriff’s Deputies found the man, identified as Darrell Walker, at a Roaring River residence. Walker was arrested and served the warrant without incident. He will remain in the Wilkes County Jail until he is extradited back to California.
