Powwow in Wilkes This Weekend

Yadkin Valley Intertribal Powwow begins today in Wilkes at Ft. Hamby Park.  Today’s events are Free for kids K-12 along with teachers and seniors. There will be Native American Dancers in Regalia with drummers, singers, demonstrations, Story Tellers, children activities, Native American Crafts, and Food vendors.  The Powwow is described as three fun filled days of family educational experience and Native America Cultural.
