WMD in Wilkes Did Not Explode

A WMD in Wilkes.  They have suspects but no arrests yet in a case of possessing a weapon of mass destruction in Ferguson.  According to a report filed with the Wilkes Sheriff’s Office, a type of Molotov Cocktail was found near a vehicle in Wilkes.  A Molotov Cocktail is a makeshift bomb made of a breakable container filled with flammable liquid and provided with a rag wick that is lit just before being hurled.  In this case the make-shift bomb was not thrown but placed near a car at a residence on Champion Road.  The victims saw the suspects drive up and put a mason jar filled with liquid near a vehicle.  The jar had a rag hanging out that was lit before the suspects left.  The victims ran up and threw a coat on the jar and extinguished the fire.  There was no explosion and no one was injured.  The jar did contain petroleum.  Wilkes Sheriff’s Investigators do have the names of possible suspects and charges of possession of a weapon of mass destruction are pending further investigation.
