No one was currently living there, so someone decided to remove several pieces of that property. In a report filed last week with the Wilkes Sheriff’s Office, a victim called regarding stolen property from a Stoney Fork Road residence in Ferguson. Again the house was unoccupied and had been for a while. In fact it had been weeks since the victim had checked on their empty house. When they did go by to check, they discovered thieves had removed several things. Stolen property included vinyl siding, mobile home axles, propane tank, electrical box, and a light pole. Hundreds of dollars in property was taken. No suspects were listed with the report. The Sheriff’s Department is still investigating.
