NC Vet With PTSD Threatens Over Farm Loan

A man reportedly suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome has threatened federal employees.  Federal and Law Enforcement agencies in the area have received word concerning a 66-year-old white male who made threats after being turned down for a farm loan.  The man was denied a farm loan at the US Farm Service Home Office in Forsyth County.  The man then spoke with the District Office in Iredell County who also informed him that he was ineligible for a loan.  According to Police reports, the man became upset, made references to having a gun, and made reference to a bombing.  Calls have been made to the US Capitol and the State Capitol concerning the threats.  Warnings have been issued to employees that if the man is seen near any Federal Building property, police are to be called immediately.  Police have a name and description of the man as well as the description of possible vehicles he owns.
