Open House at SAFE New Offices

The public is invited to an Open House this Thursday at SAFE Inc.’s new offices on College Avenue in Wilkesboro.   Tim Murphy explains the work of SAFE.  AIR   The Wilkes Chamber of Commerce will stage a ribbon cutting at 2 p.m.  Agency staff and board members will meet with visitors until 4 p.m. Refreshments will be served.  Agency officials say the new location offers clients easier access and greater privacy. The new office area includes unoccupied space that will be developed to house a child advocacy center to improve care for child sexual assault victims.  SAFE’s new offices are located just off School Street at 1260 College Avenue near UPS.  SAFE’s 14-bed shelter facility for domestic violence victims remains in an undisclosed location somewhere in the Wilkesboro’s.
