How Did They Drive Away?

From the description of the apparent wreck, you would think they would not have been able to drive away, but they did.  A Wilkes Sheriff’s Deputy was sent to investigate damages at a residence on Greenhorn Road.  Through the investigation, the Deputy determined that an unknown vehicle ran off the road coming out of a curve near an intersection.  The vehicle ran over a mailbox, ran through the Pleasant Home Church sign, and then crossed over Byrd Road and ran over a road sign.  Damages to the mailbox, church sign, and road sign are listed at 900 dollars.  Again, the driver and type of vehicle involved in the wreck is unknown at this time.  Charges are pending further investigation.
