Upcoming Wilkes County Schools Forum

Parents--especially of middle and high school students, students, and community members are encouraged to attend an upcoming forum.  The Wilkes County Schools Community Forum will be held on November 1, 2012, in the Stone Center for Performing Arts. Join them to discuss what they are doing to prepare students for life after high school. Topics to be discussed include: New Curriculum and Assessments, Career and College Promise, Career and Technical Education, and Middle School Career Planning.  Representatives from Wilkes County Schools and Wilkes Community College will be available to answer questions and take suggestions from parents, business representatives, and community members.  This is a “must attend” event.
