4 Injured in 4-Car Chain Reaction Wreck in Wilkesboro
Friday, October 26, 2012 at 11:33AM Two people were injured in a 4-car pile up on River Street in front of Raebles yesterday afternoon about 5:30. According to the Wilkesboro Police report, two vehicle were stopped waiting to make a left turn. A third and fourth vehicle failed to reduce speed. The third car hit the one of the two stopped vehicles knocking it into the other. Then a fourth vehicle collided in this chain reaction wreck. Four people were transported by EMS to WRMC due to injuries sustained in the 4-car wreck. Christopher Evans of North Wilkesboro and Joseph Supulski of Boomer were both charged with failure to reduce speed. Damages to the vehicles involved ranged from 300 to 8000 dollars.
