Through the Window

There have been a number of reports recently from around Wilkesboro and out in the county regarding home break-ins in which entrance was gained through a window.  A Purlear resident called the Wilkes Sheriff’s Office when they returned home to find a broken window and theft.  The thief got into the house by breaking out a window.  Several things were stolen including a .22 Ruger pistol, some cash, and a gold watch chain.  There are no suspects.
