Another Stolen Gun from a Wilkes Home
Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at 9:45AM A Moravian Falls man has reported the theft of a gun from his house. As we have reported before—guns, jewelry, electronics, and prescription drugs are among the top items for thieves nationally and locally. This week, a property owner on Hwy 18 South told Wilkes Sheriff’s Deputies that someone entered his unlocked house and stole a gun. The stolen gun is described as a Remington 552 rifle valued at 400 dollars. Nothing else was reported stolen from the home. There are no suspects in the theft; the Sheriff’s Department is investigating.
