Business Break-In

The gate was locked, so they cut a hole in the fence.  Hamby’s Towing called the Wilkes Sheriff’s Office to report a theft at his business on Hwy 16 in Millers Creek.  The thief or thieves entered the property by cutting through a section of fence around the towing yard.  The owner reported several things taken from property including 12 batteries and 4 catalytic converters.  No suspects were listed with the report.  The Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate.
