Shot Fired Into Occupied Dwelling

Shots were fired through his house.  The Wilkes County Sheriff’s Office received a call regarding shots fired at a residence on Edsel Road in Traphill.  The homeowner stated that he and some other people were sitting inside when a bullet came through the house.  Someone fired a gun toward the house causing a bullet to come through the kitchen window, go through two walls, and exit out the glass on the screen door.  Remarkably no one was injured in the shooting and the shooter left the scene before Deputies arrived.  There is a possible suspect in the shooting and charges are pending.
