Congresswoman Foxx Says Democrats Are Changing On Pipeline
Friday, February 3, 2012 at 9:14AM With the increase in gas prices nationally, a recent hot topic of debate in the US Congress is the Keystone Canadian Pipeline. Republicans tried to pass it, and the President vetoed it. This week; however, some Democrats are started to divide over the pipeline. Senator Harry Reid, Democrat and Senate Majority Leader said that if the Keystone Bill would guarantee that oil extracted would be sold domestically then he would take a look at it; and Democrat House member Steny Hoyer said the project “has merit.” Congresswoman Foxx says the American people like the pipeline idea and that is changing the minds of Democrats.
