Some Stole His Debit Card

His debit card was used repeatedly without his knowledge, so he contacted Wilkesboro Police and froze his bank account.  In a report filed with the Wilkesboro Police this week, a Boomer resident said that his debit card had been used twice at Walmart for a purchase over 100 dollars each time.  His card was also used at Just Save and Walgreens.  The purchases have been made since the end of January.  The victim is getting paperwork from the bank to determine if cash withdrawals from the ATM were also made.  The exact amount of money stolen from his bank account is yet to be determined.  The bank account has been frozen, and there is a suspect.  Charges are pending further investigation.
