Damage to Vehicle

Although the vehicle was broken into, nothing of value was stolen.  In a report filed this week, Wilkesboro Police were called to the Food Lion parking lot at Westwood Hills.  The victim showed Officers the extensive damages he found when he returned to his truck.  He left the truck in the parking lot late one night and left with some friends.  When he returned the next day, he saw that both door windows and the windshield were broken out.  The hood and doors were also damaged.  Police determined that a rock from a nearby drainage ditch was used to break the windows.  There were valuables inside the truck, but nothing was stolen.  Damages to the vehicle are estimated at 1000 dollars.  Police are currently collecting video surveillance from Food Lion and Four Brothers to try and get a lead on who caused the damages.  Charges are pending further investigation.
