North Wilkesboro Board Meets Tuesday

The North Wilkesboro Board of Commissioners will hold a Special Meeting on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. to consider appointment of interim town manager.  As 3WC News has already reported, Hank Perkins resigned as North Wilkesboro town manager after 10 years to accept a similar position in Lewisville.  Perkins announced his resignation at the conclusion of the town’s June board meeting last week.  He is serving a 30-day notice with his final day as North Wilkesboro Town Manager being Thursday, July 5.  So the North Wilkesboro Commission Board will meet Tuesday to consider appointment of the interim town manager, and the next Board work session is rescheduled from Thursday, June 21^st to Wednesday, June 20^th at 4:00 p.m.
