Police Helping with Anger Management

It seems the Wilkesboro Police sometimes double as anger management counselors in order to keep the peace in Wilkesboro.  In a report filed not once by twice, two men were involved in verbal altercations at area parking lots.  On Saturday, Police were called to the Walmart parking lot where the two men were arguing and yelling; however, there was no physical assault.  The two men told Police that they were just trying to work out some stuff on getting a vehicle repaired.  Both agreed to go their separate ways.  Then less than an hour later, Police were called to the Shell Station on Hwy 421.  The two men were once again arguing and yelling, causing a disturbance.  Police talked with the two for a short while about arguing with each other in public and asked them to settle their differences in a different manner…maybe by phone.  Both men agreed not to argue anymore in public and left the area.  No charges were filed.
