Convenience Store Arguments
Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at 4:56PM Convenience store arguments seem to be becoming a trend in Wilkes. Saturday night, an unidentified woman and an unidentified man walked into Fast Track and began to act suspicious. They stood in the back of the store where the employees could not see them and stayed there for a while. Finally an employee decided to do a little investigating and went to see what they were doing. While under the watchful eye of an employee of Fast Track, it was observed that the male was placing thumbtacks into the female’s purse. When confronted about it, the two became angered and left the store. A little while later, the two returned just as angry as they had been before. At that time, the female got into a heated argument with the employee which ended up in a physical fight. The Fast Track employee did not want to report shop lifting or press charges for assault.
