Tools Stolen
Friday, August 10, 2012 at 1:54PM Don’t know if the thief needed to do some work around the house or if they just a few things to sell for some quick cash. According to a Wilkes County Sheriff’s report, over 800 dollars in tools were stolen from a home in Wilkesboro. This week, a resident on the Mt. Sinai Road called to report a break-in and theft at their house. While the homeowner was away, a thief came calling and left with a Stihl weedeater, Stihl leafblower, and a Black & Decker Skil Saw. Some gas was also stolen from the victim’s car. Stolen property is valued at 830 dollars. At this time, there are no suspects.
