Wilkesboro Traffic Accidents

Regarding traffic in Wilkesboro, Police were called to investigate multiple wrecks on Hwy 421 this week.  In just the 2 wrecks that happened Tuesday, both appear to be fender benders in which no one was injured.  Damages ranged from 700 to 1000 dollars.  On Wednesday, a rear-end collision on Hwy 421 near Hwy 16 resulted in a passenger from each vehicle being transported to WRMC by EMS.  According to the investigation report, a vehicle driven by Janet Gambill was traveling South and stopped in the travel land due to a car stopped in front of her.  Another vehicle driven by Larry Walker, Jr., failed to reduce speed and hit Gambill’s car from behind.  Again a passenger from each car reported injuries and was taken to WRMC.  Walker was charged in that wreck.
