List of Bicycles Stolen

Local law enforcement has also seen an increase in bicycle thefts over the past week.  As 3WC News has already reported, 6 bicycles were reported stolen from Roaring River.  Now add to that list, the theft of two children’s bikes.  A resident in Windemere Apartments called Wilkesboro Police this week concerning her son’s Mongoose bike valued at  80 dollars had been stolen.  The bicycle was stolen from under the steps to the apartment.  The woman said a neighbor also had a bike missing.  Then a North Wilkesboro woman called the Wilkes Sheriff’s Department and reported the theft of her daughter’s bike.  She came home and saw that the bike was gone.  There is no word on suspects in either bicycle theft.
