3-Car Bump-Up

Sunday afternoon, a 3-car domino effect car accident resulted in damages to vehicles but no serious personal injuries.  Wilkesboro Police investigated this wreck that occurred on Hwy 421 at NC 16 just before 1pm Sunday.  The Police report states that two cars had stopped at the intersection with a green light due to an ambulance approaching with running lights and sirens.  A third vehicle driven by Amanda Walker of Greensboro failed to reduce speed and hit one of the stopped cars knocking it into another vehicle.  Again, no one in the 3-car collision was seriously injured and all refused to be transported by EMS to the hospital.  Walker was charged in the wreck with failure to reduce speed.
