Meth Arrest in Parking Lot
Friday, August 24, 2012 at 9:53AM A North Wilkesboro man was arrested after local law enforcement received information on possible drug activity in the Walmart parking lot. Wilkesboro Police arrived at Walmart and spoke with the Loss Prevention Officer who had information on someone with meth. Police Officers searched the parking lot for the suspect’s vehicle. When Police saw the suspect, they initiated a traffic stop. The man, Michael Ray Combs of North Wilkesboro, was asked by Police for a consent to search. Combs granted permission for a search of his vehicle. Police found 3 plastic baggies containing meth and a Xanax pill. Warrants were obtained and Combs was arrested on one felony count and one misdemeanor count of drug possession. His is court date is set for September 26th.
