Snatched Through Open Window

It’s a purse snatching from a car.  The victim, an employee of Tyson Foods on Factory Street, called Wilkesboro Police this week concerning the theft.  The woman stated that she had gone to her car about 8:30 one evening and had forgotten to roll up her windows before returning to work.  When she back to her car at 1:45am, she saw that her pocketbook had been taken from the vehicle.  A Motorola cell phone, bank cards, and personal papers were taken with the pocketbook.  Attempts are being made to watch security video; however, a suspect has not yet been identified.
