Locked Door; Open Window

Unfortunately, the homeowner remembered to lock the doors but left a bedroom window unlocked.  The victim told Wilkes Sheriff’s Deputies that she found some items missing from inside her house when she returned home from work.  There was no sign of forced entry; however, further investigation revealed that the thief or thieves had come in through an unlocked bedroom window.  Stolen property included an xBox, games, cash, guitar, laptop, and ammunition.  There is no word on suspects at this time.
