Same Name?

Either they both had the exact same name or someone was lying to Police.  Over the weekend, Wilkesboro Police were conducting a license checkpoint on River Street.  A car approached the checkpoint and Police asked the driver for his license.  The driver stated he had no license and no picture ID.  He then gave Police a name he said was his.  While Police were checking the name for open warrants, another man on a bicycle came to the checkpoint and began talking with the driver of the car.  So Police asked the man on the bicycle his name which was the exact same name given by the man in the car.  After being questioned again, the car driver told Police his real name, Justin Smithey of Wilkesboro.  He said he lied due to a warrant for his arrest.  Police determined that there were actually two open warrants for Smithey.  He was arrested on the two warrants and also charged for driving with license revoked.  He was taken to jail with a 1500 dollar bond.
