House Going or Growing to Pot

Two different people were arrested on drug charges after Sheriff’s Deputies came by a Stoney Ridge Road residence to serve a warrant.  When Deputies first arrived, the man they were looking for, Allen Shepherd, was not at home.  A man did drive up to the residence and Deputies stopped his vehicle thinking it might be Shepherd.  Instead, they found Michael Sheets.  A search of Sheets and his vehicle revealed 8 dosage units of Methadone for which he did not have a prescription.  Sheets was arrested and charged with drug trafficking.  Deputies then entered Shepherd’s residence and found marijuana plants, seeds, scales, pipes, and plastic baggies inside the house.  Shepherd was later arrested and charged with maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance, manufacturing of a controlled substance, two counts of possession, and drug trafficking.
