One Injured in Parking Lot Wreck

As we have mentioned several times on 3WC News, there are a number of traffic accidents in area parking lots each week here in Wilkes.  Over the weekend, one person was injured in a parking lot wreck involving a car and a motorcycle.  The driver of the motorcycle, Ronnie Caudill, was moving to the right through the parking lot at Monte de Rey.  A car, driven by Betty Church, was traveling straight but moving slowly as the car was running out of gas.  Caudill said he did not see the car until his motorcycle collided into the driver’s side door of the car.  A passenger on the back of the motorcycle was injured and transported to WRMC by Wilkes EMS.  No charges have been filed.  Wilkesboro Police investigated the wreck.
