Stolen, Sold, And Recovered

They were stolen, sold for scrap, retrieved by the owner, and warrants have been issued for the thief.  Wilkesboro Police received a call from American Specialty on River Street regarding a larceny.  The reporting person told Police that two metal ramps had been stolen overnight from the loading dock at the side of the building.  American Specialty’s owner contacted Wilkes Steel to be on the lookout for the stolen ramps valued at 400 dollars.  Wilkes Steel called the owner back later and said he had property matching the description of the stolen ramps.  The company owner went to Wilkes Steel and confirmed the ramps were his.  The stolen metal ramps were returned to the owner.  Wilkesboro Police have the name of the person who brought the stolen property to Wilkes Steel and warrants for his arrest have been issued.
