They're Going 2-Ways

It’s not necessarily the times, but the roads that are a-changing.  3WC News spoke with Dean Ledbetter of the NCDOT this week about changes to roads in downtown North Wilkesboro starting tonight.  AIR:  Mr. Ledbetter says that years ago, the times called for them to switch the downtown from 2-way to 1-way.  Now it’s time to switch back.  AIR  Earlier this year, some stoplights were taken out and replaced with 4-way stop signs to improve traffic flow and decrease delays in the North Wilkesboro downtown area.  Again, the DOT crews will be on Main Street and along the CBD Loop after 9 o’clock tonight.  If you’re traveling through the downtown area, watch for the road crews.  And Friday, remember that Main Street, North Wilkesboro is again a two-way street.  My complete interview with the NCDOT can be heard as a podcast on our website:  www.hometownchristianradio.com
