Was the Thief Caught on Video?

They are hoping security video caught the crook in the act.  In a report filed with the Wilkesboro Police, a North Wilkesboro woman said her clutch pocketbook was snatched in Wilkesboro.  The woman attending a private party at a business downtown.  She said that she had the clutch beside her while talking with friends.  When she got ready to leave, she reached to grab her pocketbook but someone else had already grabbed it.  The victim was contacted by The Holiday Inn Express when they found two of her bank cards on their property.  Her cell phone was also used by the thief.  Police are waiting to view security video from the business where the party was held and from the hotel in hopes of determining the identity of the thief.  The investigation is still underway.
