Thief Takes Advantage of Free Breakfast

Yes, it is a free breakfast buffet…but only IF you are a paying guest.  Wilkesboro Police were called to the Red Carpet Inn recently regarding the theft of some food from their buffet.  According to the Inn Manager, he noticed the breakfast bill was more expensive than it had previously been.  So the Manager decided to review the in-house surveillance video.  On September 2 and 9^th, an unknown male entered the breakfast buffet area and placed several food items in a plastic bag.  He also had something to eat while he was there.  The man is not registered as a paying guest.  Police have a description of the man and are obtaining a copy of the video as evidence.  It is believed that over 40 dollars in breakfast food items were stolen by the unknown visitor.  The Police investigation is still underway.
