SAFE Has Moved

SAFE, Inc. has moved its offices to a new location in Wilkesboro.  Offices for the non-profit domestic violence and sexual assault agency are now located off School Street at 1260 College Avenue in Wilkesboro. SAFE moved late last month.  The SAFE offices were formerly located in the Johnson J. Hayes Federal Building in Wilkesboro. Federal court officials recently announced the federal building will close once renovations to the federal court facility in Statesville are completed.  SAFE officials say the new office offers clients easier access and greater privacy.  SAFE’s 14-bed shelter facility did not move. It remains in an undisclosed location in the Wilkesboro’s.  An Open House and ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at the new offices next month.
