Home and Building Break-In

A Wilkesboro resident had someone to break into both his house and his outbuilding.  According to the report filed with the Wilkes Sheriff’s Office, the victim found the door to his outbuilding standing open.  A set of tools was stolen from the building.  Then the property owner found that a window in his house was also broken out.  A Savage rifle was stolen from inside the house.  There are possible suspects in this break-in and theft, and charges are pending further investigation.
