NC CPA Day Today

Today, over 800 Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) and volunteers from across North Carolina will take to their communities, for the first-ever CPA Day of Service. On this day, individuals, firms, and groups will join forces to give back to charitable organizations in one 30+ events already planned. Hosted by the North Carolina Association of CPAs (NCACPA), this exciting event is a symbol of the dedication CPAs have toward their cities and state.  In an effort to spotlight the importance of the event, Governor Beverly Perdue signed a proclamation officially declaring September 21 as “CPA Day of Service” in North Carolina. In her meeting with members, Governor Perdue expressed her gratitude for the event and stressed the need for volunteerism in our state.
