More Home Break-Ins

Even though Wilkes Sheriff’s Officials have made a couple of arrests concerning home break-ins and have current suspects in other recent reports, still thieves are not deterred and continue to enter houses in Wilkes and steal property.  In one report this week, a Dowell Ridge Circle victim stated that someone entered their home and took several things including money, prescription medication, and jewelry.  All the stolen property was stolen out of the safe inside the home.  There is a suspect in this theft.  Then a Ronda resident called with another home break-in.  This time the property was forcibly entered and a computer valued at 800 dollars was stolen.  No suspect was listed with the second report; both break-ins are currently being investigated by the Sheriff’s Office.
