Hook Up, Drive Off, and Steal

The thieves apparently just hooked up and drove off.  A property owner on the Dehart Community Center Road called the Wilkes Sheriff's Office this week to report a theft.  The victim stated that a utility trailer parked near their house was stolen.  The theft occurred during the overnight hours.  This was a large trailer and someone would have to hook it up to a vehicle to haul it off.  The stolen utility trailer is valued at 700 dollars.  No suspects or witnesses were listed with the report.  The Sheriff's Office is still investigating this theft.
